Weekend happenings: Drug Take Back Day in Millvale, Shaler

Millvale’s Medicap Pharmacy will partner with the Millvale Police Department from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26 in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day efforts.
People may leave medication, excluding syringes, at the pharmacy and the police station.
Pharmacy employees will pick up medication that Lloyd McBride Court and Alverno Apartments senior housing residents leave at their housing offices. For more information, call the pharmacy at 412-821-1524.
Medicap Pharmacy is at 225 Grant Ave.
• Shaler Township Police Department will hold its Prescription Drug Take Back on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Shaler North Hills Library, 1822 Mt. Royal Blvd.
Shaler police also have a Prescription Drug Take Back Box in the Police Department lobby at 300 Wetzel Road, Glenshaw.
Regular collection is 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Fall Craft, Vendor Fair
Fall Craft and Vendor Show will be held Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Glenshaw Valley Presbyterian Church, 1520 Butler Plank Road, Glenshaw. There will be crafts, vendors, bake sale, food, a Chinese auction and more.

Shaler North Hills Library book sale
Shaler North Hills Library will be hosting its annual book sale on Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There will be best sellers, paperbacks, DVDs, CDs, puzzles, and tons of children’s materials.
Blessed Trinity Academy Fall Craft Fair
Blessed Trinity Academy will host its third annual Fall Craft and Vendor Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26 in Marian Hall (St. Mary of the Assumption Parish.) More than 40 vendors will be on hand selling a variety of goods. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Admission is $1 (children 12 and under free).
