No outages expected during repair of Millvale water main break

Emergency repairs for a water main break in Millvale are underway.
Millvale police posted on its Facebook page that a break was reported on the ramp from the 40th Street Bridge and water was headed toward Maryland Avenue and Logan Street in Millvale.
The incident was reported just before 3 p.m.
Shortly after, the Pittsburgh Water & Sewage Authority tweeted that crews will be on the scene overnight to install a subsurface drain.
No water outages are expected.
Work will take place from 9 p.m. to about 5 a.m. and is expected to wrap just before rush hour.
Contractors will work along East Ohio Street at the 40th St Bridge. The off-ramp to Route 28 will close but the on-ramp to the bridge will remain open, according to the post.
