Shaler High School Class of 1959 will holds its 60th reunion Oct. 12, 2019 at Blueberry Hill Park in Franklin Park. Many classmates will be coming from 13 different states.

There will be an informal get together Friday night (Oct. 11) at The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Cranberry and a Sunday breakfast at the Hampton Inn in Wexford.

Greybrooke Garden Club garage sale

Greybrooke Garden Club will hold a garage sale from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 12 at Parkwood U.P. Church, 4289 Mt. Royal Blvd., Allison Park. Proceeds from this sale help support the club’s annual donations to conservancy groups and worthy community and charitable organizations.

Free yoga in park

A free yoga program is being offered from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturdays at the tennis courts at Kiwanis Park through Oct. 26.

Flea market

The Men of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Perrysville will hold a flea market with more than 25 vendors in the lower level, rear entrance of the church on Oct. 12

The Women of St. John’s will hold its Christian Closet, where shoppers can fill a bag of gently worn clothing, shoes and accessories for $5.

The Youth of St. John’s will hold a bake sale and sell hot dogs and other treats during the event.

The sale runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The church is at 920 Perry Highway in Ross.

Casella in concert

Christian musician Jeremy Casella will be in concert Oct. 13, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Hampton Presbyterian Church sanctuary.

Casella is sponsored by Compassion International, a child-advocacy ministry, committed to “releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name.” A singer/songwriter, he will perform music from his new album, “Spirit.”

Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door for $10 each, children 11 years old and under are free. Casella will also be in worship at the 8:30 a.m. early service, the 9:30 a.m. TurningPoint service, and the 11 a.m. traditional service. The church is located at 2942 E. Hardies Road in Gibsonia.
