The district is complying with Gov. Tom Wolf’s order to extend the initial closing an additional two weeks.
District communications specialist Bethany Baker said that students will transition to remote learning options beginning March 30, but that plans are still being finalized and will be available on March 25. She was unable to provide additional detail.
The closure applies to all district buildings, fields and facilities.
The district will continue to offer free breakfast and lunch to students during the closure.
Spring break is scheduled from April 9 through April 13.
According to the release, classes will resume on April 14 unless another extension occurs.
